WEX in the summer

The Writers' Express offers three distinct Summer Writing Programs for students entering 5th grade through 10th grade. The camp at Simmons College,which is the WEX flagship program, is geared towards students entering grades 5-9. Boston and Beyond is for students entering grades 9-10 who are interested in writing about their daily explorations around Boston. Finally, Writers in the Woodstakes place at Kroka Expeditions in New Hampshire, and appeals to outdoor enthusiasts in grades 7-9.

WEX offers tuition assistance to two-thirds of the children who attend our summer programs. See individual programs for more information on how to apply.
