Boston and Beyond

bballThe Writers’ Express invites students going into grades 9 and 10 to participate in this exciting two-week program. Like all WEX programs, Boston and Beyond combines exciting activities and daily trips with intense writing practice and polishing. This program focuses on travel writing and memoir. Students tour different parts of the city, participating in cultural activities and learning local histories, playing sports, and working on writing projects. Each student produces a polished piece of writing to be published in the WEX collection.

Our 2010 application is not available at this time. Please check back in early December for a current application. Once available, applications are accepted on a first-come-first-serve, rolling basis. Though we would love to be able to accommodate all interested campers, due to limited space and the high demand for our summer programming, we cannot guarantee placement. The earlier you apply, the better your child's chances are of being enrolled in the program. Financial Assistance is available to qualified families. Applying early will also increase your chance of receiving aid.
